What were the producers of “Wanted” thinking when they decided to go against Pixar’s latest movie “Wall-E”??? Rule #1 of opening box office hits: You NEVER win against the millions of kids across the nation!!! They are ALWAYS there on opening weekend and they come in droves. The Pixar people are laughing all the way to the bank with their #1 slot at $60+ million. Wanted didn’t fare so bad at #2 with $50+ million. It was a battle of the kids vs. the grown-ups this weekend, and the kids won in the end. Both movies were favored by the critics, so it was just a matter of who was going to make the effort and show up this weekend. Honestly, it’s comforting to know that even in this weak economy, moviegoers are always down to pay full price for a good flick! :-0

Who’s that frolicking in St. Tropez with my baby daddy??? :-0 Those who know me know that I ALWAYS have room in my heart for Keanu Reeves, and wish nothing but happiness for the sweetest, most un-Hollywood Hollywood actor in the business. But with all his success through the years, he’s had his share of heartache in his personal life. Flashback to when he and his ex-girlfriend were ecstatic about becoming parents, only to have the baby die before its birth. Follow that with the tragic loss of the same girlfriend who commited suicide after years of depression and drug use. If there’s anyone I’m rooting for in the love department, it’s KEANU! So his latest girlfriend is… suprisingly… China Chow. Best known as the daughter of the infamous Mr. Chow of the famous Mr. Chow Restaurant in Beverly Hills. She also had a brief stint as an actress starring opposite Mark Wahlberg in “The Big Hit” back in the day. They seem to be happy in this picture. If I could just hate on them for a second, I’d like to nominate them for “Pastiest Couple of the Year”!!! HAHA  Geez, they look like they’ve been locked up all winter long. I know they both come from asian backgrounds, but that is RIDICULOUS!!!

Who isn’t excited to see Wanted this weekend!? Heart pumping action…. Angelina lookin’ bad ass and kickin’ ass. James McAvoy lookin’ hot as the innocent assassin-in-training… Morgan Freeman as their ring leader. But am I only the one who thinks Angelina looks thin as a rail in this movie? I love her look… the crazy tatts n’ stellar shoulders….. but have you seen her arms? They’re the size of a gift wrapping tube! She is way too thin, although I have a feeling this was filmed around the same time she dropped all that weight after the loss of her mother. In that case, I can’t really hate on her. But I would love to have seen her beef up Lara Croft style for this movie.  Although I’m sure her arms will be the last thing that the guys will be looking at this weekend! :-0

Yes, I’m gonna be the first one to say it — Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will NOT… I repeat, will not last. Why say such negative things? ‘Cause they’ve just jinxed themselves with what my husband and I have dubbed the “Kiss of Death” — they got their names tattooed on each other. Hel-lo? Have they not seen the damage this has done to all former Hollywood couples (Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson and Johnny Depp & Winona Ryder, to name a few)? Forget Hollywood couples, this goes for ANY couple, period! You just don’t do it. It never works in your favor and then you’re screwed with a permanent reminder of what you thought was a sign of love and devotion at the time. WRONG! Mariah’s tattoo isn’t so bad. Typical tiny girly tattoo that says Mrs. Cannon inside some girly type design. But Nick’s tattoo is horrendous. He got “Mariah” tattooed on his upper back. And these are not tiny letters either. They’re huge! It looks as though it takes up his entire shoulder blade area. Just way too big for a name written in cursive lettering. Tacky!
