Greetings to my fellow bloggers in the entertainment world. Welcome to my first blog…. EVER! Let’s cut to the chase and get to the headlining ‘rumor’ of the day: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon eloping? Hopefully we’re all being PUNKED! I’m sorry, but I just can’t see it. Sure she’s gorgeous and he’s handsome…but when did they even start dating? He directed her ‘ByeBye’ video, and then what… they start checkin’ each other out and decide to make a go for it?!! With Whitney Houston being spotted with her off/on ‘friend’ Ray J, one can’t help but wonder if this is the latest trend in the music industry. Speaking of music, American Idol is starting to bore the hell out of me! David Archuleta is annoying me with his wimpy posturing and nasally singing. And he’s a total bore to boot. Syesha comes out swinging but never seems to wow me, and Jason Castro doesn’t even realize where he is half the time. It’s obvious that I’ve narrowed it down to David Cook, but c’mon.. do you REALLY think anyone else deserves to win? This week we said goodbye to Brooke. She’s talented, but she’s way too weepy to even have a chance at the top 3. This could be why I get more viewing pleasure watching Dancing With The Stars. Finally, Jason Taylor was able to knock top runner Kristi Yamaguchi from the #1 spot last week. Awesome! Kristi’s a great dancer, but I would love to see her fall just ONCE this season! And speaking of falls….. who will take the fall for the Miley’s VF photo spread? NO ONE! My advice to Miley: Man up and be a professional and admit that you did the shoot and were happy with the work. Don’t degrade the great artist known as Annie Lebowitz. Disney will forgive you if you stick by your art.
